Community of the Month: Stonegate

This new community provides the close connection to Grand Rapids with great schools and a secluded feel with easy connections to the entire region.
Stonegate sits on 17 acres of preserve, offering privacy and a picturesque backdrop for suburban living. Mature trees line the streets of the community, while outdoor parks and golf opportunities are a few minutes away. Byron Center has no shortage of supermarkets, entertainment options, restaurants and other conveniences. Despite the retreat feel, Stonegate is a few minutes away from US 131 and M-6, providing easy access to Holland, Grand Rapids and the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
Byron Center has enough of a small-town feel to make residents feel comfortable at the local farmers market, the Chalk Art Festival, and Byron Rec. Movies in the Park in the summer. Residents feel at home at local spots like 84th Street Pub and Grille and Café Connection. Stonegate is still connected, though, to Grand Rapids, offering culture, entertainment and dining options. Residents can attend events such as Art Prize, eat and drink at some of the best breweries and restaurants in Michigan, or shop at one of the numerous boutiques and malls in the area.
Stonegate is located in the prestigious Byron Center School district. Byron Center High School and Countryside Elementary were ranked 9 out of 10 and Byron Center West Middle School was ranked 8 out of 10 by

Students are invited to participate in one of the numerous after school language or team clubs, or participate in Byron Center athletics.
