The Sanctuary of Saugatuck is across the street from Ravines Golf Club and an easy drive from all that Saugatuck and Douglas have to offer, including great dining options and exposure to the arts and outdoor recreation. The Venitian Festival, Jazz Festival, Douglas Octoberfest and Taste of Saugatuck are popular, as is the Fourth of July fireworks display on the Kalamazoo River.

Saugatuck is close enough to Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids to offer commuting options, and nearby Holland also offers employment opportunities. Outdoor activities are among the best in Michigan.
